Dear Ramah Families,
Today like many of you, I got the email: School cancelled next week. As many of us prepare for weeks of remote learning and social distancing, here at Camp Ramah in Northern California we would like to offer our campers and families some opportunities for reconnection.
First, as a little break today, enjoy this special 100 Days Until Camp video that looks forward to reuniting friendships, coming together for havdallah and dancing on the beach, and so much more at Ramah Galim.
Second, in an effort to offer activities for kids at home, opportunities for virtual connection, and a reboot during remote learning weeks, we are excited to announce that beginning on Monday, March 16th we will be offering a Ramah Recess on Facebook weekdays at 12PM PST. Join in for Ramah-themed singing, dancing, and learning activities hosted by Ramah staff.
We are also working with other camps around California to offer a virtual camp program that runs from 9:30am-3:30pm Monday through Friday beginning next week. Stay tuned for more info! If you’re like me and you are beginning to plan activities for your child at home, here’s another resource to check out as well: https://pjlibrary.org/familyactivities.
Feel free to share with us other resources you are using to stay connected, support one another, and engage your kids at this time. We are in this together!
A quick reminder that camp forms are due April 1. Forms can be accessed through your CampInTouch family login under the Forms and Documents tab. We appreciate your help with this process. You are encouraged to reach out to Ari Friedman in our office with any forms related questions. We understand that some of our families may experience delays in seeing the doctor at this time. Please feel free to be in touch with our office if you will be unable to submit forms before April 1, or if you need additional support at this time.
Our year round and summer staff teams continue to plan for an amazing summer experience for your children at Ramah. We look forward to staying in touch as we count the days until summer.
